Lets talk about Sarah Burton...

Everybody in fashion knows that Sarah burton is the new head designer of Alexander McQueen
But is she doing well? Probably yes. Designwise?

I HATE HERRRR
Personally, I think that she destroyed the brand.

The next SS collection after Lee (thats how they call him now ) passed the way, was practically the Lizard one officially called 'electric fairies on speed' as I remember. same silhouettes, same fabric, same printing, but the butterfly this time. I understand that she is to keep the brand's style, but seriouslyyyyyy copying it with another print is not same thing!!

just take off the belt! even the colour pallete is the same! 

Now lets have a look at the recent SS collection.

Its ANNOYINGLY SIMPLE! I get the feeling that Sarah is actually a textile designer, or jewellery.

The collection consists of JUST 3 SILLHOUETTES! I felt ridiculed and angry when I started watching the show. The first 10 dresses are litterally the same! Then next 5 are only different in colour. I wasnt too upset with the evening gowns thou, but the sillhouette of those still didnt differ.

Basically, the collection was these 4 dresses, but in different colours.

I start to get this feeling that she's from LCF, cause thats what they teach there- pick a sillhouette, change a frill, change the colour and make 10 dresses out of just that.

But is it McQueen way of thinking really?.......

Yudashkin show. Pretty impressive, with all the russian love to show off, Mr. Yudashkin offered a variety of bright-coloured geargian-inspired coats and dresses, show was accompained with a georgian dance-group of children of course. The tailoring was neeto, the design quite classic, everything russian fashion is good for. The music was surprisingly good, it was Adele's Rolling in the Deep in a pretty good mix. Although, afterwards I've heard it on several shows.

Apparently, Yudashkin is the only designer HUGELY supported by the government since its mayor's of Moscow Luzhkov's wife fav.

So,,,,Gaga has released a new breaking as usual video.

Crap music, colourful image, Gaga at her classic. Its a shame how the music is just sooo uncool and cheesy and doesnt get any better, opposite to the image.
Pretty obvious reflection play as we do on our macbooks everyday+rick the zombie guy from the Mugler show. Looks fancy and edgy, but I think she could do better. The whole dancing thing was pretty boring, I noticed she wasnt wearing heels which made her look waaay short,like all of those gogo dancers on the bar. Plus cheesy black leather with chains lingerie.

Now let's have a look at what she's bringing to fashion.

Implants! Now,that we all got tattooed and dyed our hair in weird colours for the sake of fashion, we r supposed to insert implants. This will trully extract the chosen-most-fashionable-coolest peeps. I wouldnt say I dislike that, but its a bit scaaary.. The whole fashion thing is turning pretty nasty- anorexic pierced, tattooed, lilac haired smoking chicks with implants and ugly teeth!! And thats what we soon gona c in the magazines and supposed to follow. I dont wana turn into that!!

I personally dislike this whole Kate Moss Uggly Teeth cult. How long will u torture the oldie?Shes about to go on pension,if shes not,she SHOULD! Lara Stone, Georgia Jagger, Alexa Chung,etc....
I understand fashion i proposing to us this strange kinda beauty, proposing that everybody's beautiful in their own way may be,which is a good thing, but this is going toooo far!

Although, I cant disagree that this budda-futuristic glossy rock chick look sympathises me a lot.

Now that already EVEYONE has realised 90's r SOO back, I am wanting to look through sm film parallels. Have you realised they r now showing shit loads of 90's stuff on TV too? Plus some of the new movies such as TRON are all about the same idea- the future is dark but sooo high-tech and people are always trying to survive there either conquering other planet or hiding underground or through other different ways. I like that!!Yay let's all live in that chaotic dark world 80's and 90's predicted its soooo cool. Blade runner, tron, avatar, final fantasy, matrix,.....next...i predict....the HIGHLANDER!!
everyone remember that amazing cartoon with acrylic acid colours and fancy swords and immortals?!Made into a movie afterwards.

TRRON

So, recently I have watched TRON.

What I expected from the movie is -oh yeh, we ve put fckin tonns of money in the graphics and technology, but the outcome is soooooo borrring!!Seriously, i almost fell asleep during those amazing graphics. Why is it so boring?because its very monotonous. All of those gagjets and transport and interior could b much more detailed: throughout the whole movie there's only about 2-3 types of weapon, couple of planes and booooring, very close to normal real interior.Do u c my point, nothing new, just designed in black and fluorescent.
Plus the whole story is very waaay well explained and chewed through,ahhhh also cheeesy.
The main actor is NOT cute.fact.
The only great thing about the movie is the soundtrack from Daft Punk. GREAT match, downloaded straight away.

I hope u all know that its a remake of the amazing 80's film with young Jeff Bridges as the user.
SHAME on  Josef Kosinski. The original TRON is soooo much better. Although they did not have the technology, they did hav the creativity. The story doesnt matter that much anymore as the whole movie is beautifully made: its a crazy combo of graphics, drawings, colour and b&w film. It's partly hand-coloured and collaged. Blows ur brain away!
Just listen to the name of the director- LYSberger. got that,huuuuuh?))

Sooooo..Nick Knight photographed Gareth Pugh and his bf in his boots only.

I should say- I dont like this dude.
First time I went to London, about 4 yrs ago, i was a MASSIVE fan of gareth. I loved everything he created, everybody compared me to him. I wasnt just jealous and adoring, i even wanted to believe he s not gay (which my gay-radar said he was) and wanted to marry him someday. Truly, gareth has amazing fashion talent and very good taste.....which i wouldnt say about his bf. Seriously, just have a look.

What a blond redneck! seriously, dating lovely gareth and looking like THAT and WEARING smth like THAT!! Moreover, when I saw them togthr 1st time in dazed or drapers, he was sitting on gareths knee vulgarly and slutty and that kinda gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ppl we dislike. I personally love gay, but u know theres this sort of outrageous superacting gaaaaaaay ppl, which annoy everyone.

But Nick Knight is great, look at what he's done, he just undressed McColl and turned him away!genious.
